Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes I do remember, I think I remember all my clients, he was very nice, I did not tell him he was my first client, am not sure if he noticed that. I gave him a deep tissue massage just how I learned, I felt good and proud of my self to be able to control my stress for the first time
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
to me successful means that you really love and do the best you can your work and to effort every day to learn more and be the best, I do all of that,I love my work and each client for me is like my first client, I give the best of myself so I do believe am successful masseur.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I would like him feels relaxed, loved, and with a general sensation of peace and wellbeing.
Why did you become a Masseur?
I am Brazilian and Mexican, in my mother's culture taught us that the hands are extremely powerful when it comes to helping to heal others, and I learned how to give massage to my grandmother since I was 12 years old. When arrived in the USA my friend talk me into the study for being a masseur and when I started doing it, I received so much good feedbacks that I realize that being a masseur was the profession right for me.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I don't see myself without giving massages. That is something that I love doing even if someday I don't need to do it as work, I will still give it for free. Yes am addicted to giving massages, is addictive the feeling to somehow help others to feel and be better, doing massages have made me be a better person, now I know more about human nature, people come to me for many reasons, and those client who comes to me because they feel alone are those ones from who I have learned the most, I learned how important is to care for some else, even if is a stranger, how much impact a good massage session can have in someone, and is my responsibility to help to those in physical and emotional needs, they feel better thank you to me and also I feel and become a better person because of them.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I will do my best to give you the best service no matter the day or time, no matter how tired I feel, no matter what, I will be there 100% for you and I will try to give you excellent service always.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love work out, running, sleep, watch tv shows, and cuddling with someone during the night, am so addicted to giving big hugs
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
To be sure that he really loves his profession, if you want to be a masseur but you don't love it doing it, is better for everyone that you find another work to do. This profession needs the best of you and your clients deserve a high-quality service that only can be archive if you really are in love with your work.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
Nobody else can be Nacho, there is only one me, only I can give you the service that I offer, and with effort, I have proven to give a very good service, my massage is like a fingerprint, there is no other equal, and you should try my service, only then you will comprehend why am unique. Maybe am unique since I understand that every person is an individual, I understand the importance of individuality, due that you must adapt your service for each client and that is easy to say but no many can do it.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
6 years and I think this is a lifetime profession to me.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I am more a homebody but sometimes I like to travel, especially I love to travel to Europe and Asia, I like to make friends from other countries and learn about new cultures.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes it is but some people like in many other professions are fast learning or naturally gifted, however, as a general rule, I would say that extensive training is necessary to become a successful masseur.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I would like them to feel emotionally and physically much better than when they arrived,I really want them to leave with a smile on their faces.
